Marriage — Round 2!

Last week Eric challenged us to look at the heart of the marriage commitment. This week he gives us practical advice from scripture on how to live out that commitment with love, service and forgiveness. Early in the message he clarifies an important point: that as someone who was married before and now again, he followed the guidelines of scripture (he refers to the message he gave on his wedding day — check out “Ball and Chain” to hear it).
Most of us, likely all of us, have things we could do to better our marriage. Eric reminds us that ultimately our marriage commitment is to a person, not a concept. We should mirror the commitment that Jesus made to us.
